Wayne Hobbs is a local celebrity in New Carlisle. The Church of the Brethren is excited to have Mr. Hobbs share his talent with the community on March 5th at 7:00 p.m. in our church. Mr. Hobbs has an impressive background in music. He plays a steel guitar and has played with top country artists for many years. Barbara Mandrel, Connie Smith, Marty Robbins and Jerry Lee Lewis are only a few of the celebrities he has worked with in his long career. In his 35 years of experience in the music field, he has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and on top television shows, such as Pop Goes the Country, Andy Williams, Austin City Limits, Solid Gold, The Mike Douglas Show, Good Old Nashville Music and an all-time favorite Hee Haw. Mr. Hobbs continues to be asked regularly for studio session work.

This concert is FREE and open to the public, however during intermission a “free will offering” will be accepted as a donation to the performer. Refreshments will be served during intermission for a nominal cost. Don’t miss this great opportunity to hear the music of Wayne Hobbs.
