The City of New Carlisle received a Healthy Community Award from the Ohio Department of Health and the Healthy Communities Coalition.

Bethel Local School District is pleased to announce it has received an $8,500.

Chris Shamy lost his bid for New Carlisle City Council last November by one vote, but was appointed to the seat vacated by Jim Leathley.

Miami County commissioners gave verbal approval to a grant application to buy a treadmill desk for 911 center telecommunicators and approved the purchase of six new vehicles for the sheriff’s office.

At the January 31, 2018 meeting of the Clark County Commissioners, the commissioners accepted a grant for Adult Probation that provides additional grant money from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, Division of Parole and Community Services and Bureau of Community Sanctions for $74.

Bethel Township Fiscal Officer Melanie (Cochran) Dunbar announced that she has accepted another job at tonight's meeting of the Bethel Township Trustees.

New Carlisle City Council voted unanimously to put an additional 3 mill levy on the May 8 ballot.

The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting has been awarded to Clark County by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR).
