A Glance Back at the First Semester
Schools throughout the Tecumseh School District strive to create positive and safe school climates and to maximize success for all students. Buildings have PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) initiatives in place, and teachers and administrators encourage and recognize everyday behaviors that support the school-wide behavioral expectations.
NHS Inductions
Tecumseh High School students inducted into National Honor Society near the end of the first semester have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. During the second half of the school year, NHS will challenge students to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.
The 2015-2016 Muse Machine Captains promote and organize Muse Machine events such as Open Mic Night and the upcoming Muse Machine musical. This year’s production, Mary Poppins, is at the Victoria Theatre from January 14th-17th. Five Tecumseh Muse Machine members, Noah Berner, Jerrod Gruber, Rebecca Helt, Austin Diehl, and Ryan Tilley, are part of the Mary Poppins ensemble.
“Bully Free Zone,” this year’s School Bus Safety theme, addresses the importance of school bus safety throughout the school year. Earlier in the year, students practiced an emergency evacuation drill.
