A juvenile was transported via Care Flight after a dirt bike accident in the 4500 block of W. National Rd.

According to Sergeant Ronnie Lemen with the Clark County Sheriff's Department, a 911 call was made shortly before 2pm on Saturday, June 10, in reference to a dirt bike crash on private property.

The victim, who was wearing a helmet,  was discovered by a family member on the side of the house.

Deputies and medics arrived on scene and found a juvenile with “severe injuries” according to Lemen.

“The juvenile was transported to the hospital via Care Flight and we do not have follow up information at this time” said Lemen, adding that the victim was not conscious at the time of transport.

The accident remains under investigation by the Clark County Sheriff's Department, with assistance from the Springfield Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Bethel Township Fire & EMS responded to the scene.
