A teenage driver, operating under her learner’s permit, struck a building on N. Main St. Monday evening.
According to Deputy Rachel Allender, the driver was leaving Papa John’s, over-corrected and hit the gas instead of the brake. She struck the building with enough force that the Clark County Engineer’s office was contacted to check on the integrity of the building. That portion of the building is occupied by Susan Scissorhands Barber Shop.
Neither she nor her passenger were injured.
Allender reported that the driver will be charged with failure to control.
