Trailing 22-8 with 6:00 left in 3rd quarter, the Ohio Crush football team came from behind to defeat a very good Lima Warriors team 30-28 Saturday night on the road.

After a 0-0 first quarter, the Warriors led 14-8 at the half. Crush’s first touchdown was a 22 yard pass from Jon Mason to Lamar Taborn.

Mason connected with Taborn again in the third quarter on a 3 yard pass to pull Crush within 22-14 heading into fourth quarter.

Crush scored twice in the final quarter to pull out the win. Mason hit Vance Taylor with a 12 yard pass and scored himself on a 3 yard run. Mason passed for 201 yards and Tristan Murray had 118 yards rushing to lead the offense.

Led by Lester Robinson, James Ross, Caleb Moore and Justin Boldman, the Crush defense came up with three stops in the fourth quarter to allow the offense time to get back in the game.
