age 79 of Medway, passed away Friday December 16, 2016.

He was born May 16, 1937 in Orbiston, OH, the son of the late Donald and Vera (Harold) Carsner.

Curt was employed as a lift truck driver with General Motors Inland Division, retiring in 1990 after 31 years of service. An avid fisherman, he was a longtime member of the Lyre Lake Fishing Club.

He also enjoyed mushroom hunting, the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals. Curt was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Carsner.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha; three children, Danny (Michelle) Carsner, Gregory Carsner, Kimberly (Brooks) Loeb; eight grandchildren, Chris, Bryan, Amy, Scott, Jacob, Liana, Clay, Emmi; six great-grandchildren, Abby, Chloe, Connor, Lainie, Jackson, Owen; a brother, Kenny (Sandy); two sisters, Donna Powers, Phyllis Brooks; as well as a large extended family that he loved.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday December 18, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Keith Sarver officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service.

A graveside service will be held on Monday at 10:00 A.M. at the Medway Cemetery. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Condolences may be made to the family at www.BeltonStroup.com.
