Beverly A. Simmons, 73 of Piqua died at 10:43 p.m. Tuesday June 28, 2016 at the Kettering Hospital. She was born August 7, 1942 in Pleasant Hill to the late Chester and Roma (Kiser) Spain. She was happily married to Larry A. Simmons her Sweetie Pie, for over 23 years, and he survives.

Other survivors include four children, Scott Alltop, Monica (Mike) Lee all of New Carlisle, Tom Simmons of Columbus, Joe (Susan) Simmons of Piqua; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and four siblings, Terry (Sue) Spain of Washington, Esther (Jim) Dyke of New Carlisle, Raymond Kiser of Piqua, Judy (Allan) Hemingway of Washington. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Simmons attended Piqua City schools and later earned her Associates Degree. She was successful with her career as a Regional Manager of Tiara Exclusives and later served the area as a Realtor with the W. A. Shively Realty Agency for over twenty years. She enjoyed her family and helping people.

A service to honor her life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 2, 2016 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Harbor officiating. Burial will follow at New Carlisle Cemetery.
