79, of Medway, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 19, 1936 in Youngstown, Ohio the son of the late William & Mary (Hlubik) Szary. He was a retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force and was a Civil Engineer, Chief of Planning at Wright Patterson AFB. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol Szary; children, Victoria (Daniel) Howard, Tina Altevers, Tabitha (Mike) Stoltz; fourteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren; daughters-in-law; two sisters; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Thomas Szary; two daughters, Darlene Jenks & Catherine Miller. Visitation was 5-7 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with military honors and funeral service at 7 PM in the funeral home.
