Bethel Hope is seeking residents of Bethel Township, Miami County, who are in need of neighborly assistance. If you or a neighbor of yours is struggling to get by, give us a call. Bethel Hope is the only non-profit organization in Bethel Township dedicated to the welfare of Bethel Township residents.

Bethel Hope is also seeking more volunteers and financial supporters. The Bethel Hope office, located in Brandt United Methodist Church, is open Thursdays 11 am to 4 pm. We are in need of a few people who are able and willing to assist with office operation. We aim for each volunteer to work just one shift per month. Training will be provided. Call us to get more details (937)845-1711.

Bethel Hope maintains a food pantry of non-perishable food items. We also assist with utility bills, rent payments, and prescription drug expenses. Persons seeking assistance must call the office first and make an appointment. Proof of residency must be provided to receive assistance.

Bethel Hope conducts three special outreaches each year: Supplies-filled book bags to students in August; Thanksgiving dinner baskets to the less fortunate in November; and children’s gifts with a party and Santa in December. We also conduct a 12-week class in Faith and Finances to teach good biblical financial practices.

Our all-volunteer work force operates under the command of Jesus to “love your neighbor as you love yourself.† We try to be the neighbors we’d love to have. Give us a call for more information or to request assistance.
