The township’s health insurance plan for public employees is yet to be sponsored for Bethel township. Developments are still under way, but the Bethel trustees are strongly considering Ohio health sponsor, Benovation for Bethel Township’s sponsorship. Bethel’s sponsorship by OPEC-HC is currently dissolving, and will be nullified by December 31st. Similarly, Bethel Township has severed its ties with Ohio Insurance Services.

The trustees also moved to repair the Township Office’s parking lot, although the costs will not exceed $3,500. Moves for repairs were made also for Quick Rd, not to exceed $4,150, both will be covered by Riley’s Asphalt Paving. $8,100 of repairs were approved for Aspen Rd., S Park Dr., Tulip Rd., Beach Dr., and Whaley Rd., all of which will be done by Mead’s Paving.

Due to a recent vandalization at Raynor Park’s peewee football field, as well as a past burglary in the concession stand, the Trustees have also opted to improve the lighting and camera presence at the park.

The annual total of emergency runs made by Bethel’s Fire Department is 1,819.
